The 9th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Data Mining (FSDM 2023)
November 10-13, 2023, Chongqing, China
Organized by Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, the 9th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Data Mining (FSDM 2023) was held smoothly during Nov. 10-13, 2023 both onsite at Chongqing, China and online via Teams. Over 100 participants gathered in-person at Chongqing, China and about 50 participants were online, who are mainly from 16 countries and districts, including six distinguished keynote speakers: Prof. Witold Pedrycz from Canada and Poland, Prof. Yiyu Yao from Canada, Prof. Hamido Fujita from Japan, Prof. Hongying Zhang and Prof. Dun Liu both from China as well as Prof. Alfredo Cuzzocrea from France and Italy. 71 presentations were delivered including 9 invited speeches and 39 oral presentations onsite and online allotted in five Oral Sessions (including two special sessions) and 23 poster presentations in Poster Session.

Organized and hosted by Huaqiao University, the 8th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Data Mining (FSDM 2022) was held fully online via MS Teams during November 4-7, 2022, which was originally planned to be held in Xiamen City. 50 selected online presentations from more than 20 countries and regions were delivered at FSDM2022 in the related topics of fuzzy systems and data mining, including 4 excellent keynote speeches by 4 outstanding professors respectively from China, UK, Netherlands and Serbia. All the accepted papers for FSDM2022 conference proceeding have been published online by IOS Press before the conference and indexed by EI Compendex and Scopus within one month after publication online. Some selected excellent papers have been recommended to related EI/SCI-indexed journals.

Supported by Keimyung University and Petrozavodsk State University, the 7th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Data Mining (FSDM 2021) was held online smoothly during Oct.26-29, 2021 via Microsoft Teams. FSDM 2021 changed from onsite to online without any physical participation at Seoul, South Korea due to unstable situation of COVID-19. Over 60 online presentations from more than 20 countries and regions were delivered at FSDM2021 in the related topics of fuzzy systems and data mining, including 6 marvelous keynote speeches by 6 outstanding professors respectively from China, USA, Ukraine, France, UK and Czech Republic. Supported by Saga University, FSDM2019 has been held successfully at Kitakyushu International Conference Center (KICC), Kitakyushu City, Japan, gathering about 130 participants from over 20 countries and regions. 90 accepted papers have been published in Conference Proceedings of FSDM 2019 by IOS Press. Selected accepted papers have been recommended to SCIE-indexed journals including IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems and International Journal of Fuzzy Systems.
