Welcome to FSDM 2023!

Hosted and organized by Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, the 9th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Data Mining (FSDM 2023) is to be held both onsite at Chongqing, China and online via MS Teams during November 10-13, 2023. With emphasis on Fuzzy Theory, Algorithm and System, Fuzzy Application, Data Mining and Interdisciplinary field of Fuzzy Logic and Data Mining, FSDM2023 consists of keynote speeches, invited speeches, oral presentations and poster presentations.

Chongqing, reputed as “Little Hong Kong”, has become the world’s fastest-growing tourism city in recent years with both enthralling urban cityscape and traditional cultural elements. Positioned alongside the upper Yangtze River in Southwest China, this sprawling metropolis is the launching point for scenic relaxing cruise down the Yangtze River through Three Gorges and the Three Gorges Dam. Known as "Mountain City", Chongqing is one of the four major municipalities of China (the other three are Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin).

The past eight annual events are all held smoothly and successfully. FSDM2019, FSDM2018, FSDM2017, FSDM2016 and FSDM2015 are held on-site in Kitakyushu (Japan), Bangkok (Thailand), Taiwan, Macau and Shanghai (China) respectively. FSDM2020, FSDM2021 and FSDM2022 have been changed from onsite conferences to virtual conferences without any physical participation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we cordially invite scientists, experts as well as scholars and technicians all over the world to participate in FSDM 2023 during November 10-13, 2023.

Accepted full papers will be published in the upcoming FSDM 2023 conference proceedings in the book series Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications(FAIA) indexed by EI Compendex, Scopus, ACM Digital Library, Google Scholar, CPCI, etc. Indexing information could be found at http://www.frontiersinai.com/?q=indexing

1. The selected papers from FSDM2022 have been indexed by SCIE (Web of Science) after publication in Journal of Nonlinear and Convex Analysis (JNCA) in Volume 23, issue 9 &10, 2023 with Publication Date: 31 August, 2022.[2022-12-20]

2. All the accepted papers for FSDM2022 conference proceeding have been indexed by EI Compendex and Scopus within one month after publication online with publication date: Nov. 1, 2022 by IOS Press in volume 358 of the book series of Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications (FAIA) with ISBN 978-1-64368-346-1 (print)| ISBN 978-1-64368-347-8 (online) and ISSN 0922-6389 (print)/ISSN 1879-8314 (online).[2022-12-1]

3. Considering the uncertainty and changes caused by the global pandemic of COVID-19, organized and hosted by Huaqiao University, the 8th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Data Mining (FSDM 2022) was held fully online via MS Teams during November 4-7, 2022, which was originally planned to be held in Xiamen City.[2022-11-10]
